I'm having a bout of the post-Sierra trip blues. Sometimes, when I get done with a big objective or project, I feel an emptiness and sadness. I love everything that goes into climbing a mountain- the planning, the sense of purpose, the teamwork and collaboration. Stressful situations and challenges that come up on the mountain are often easier to resolve than other problems in life. Maybe I'm a true junkie, but I can't wait to go back.
