One of the first stops on our journey, just past the entrance gates at Huscaran National Park. One of the wildest parts about ski mountaineering in the #cordillerablanca is the vast diversity of ecosystems you travel through, starting around 10,000' in Huaraz and ending up two days later at almost 19,000' on the summit of Pisco!
