Climbing through the night to experience sunrise at @mountrainiernps was a spiritual experience, and it made me think how important it is to protect these sacred places and experiences for future generations. Did you know that many national parks were first protected as national monuments? These national treasures are what make America great, and right now, they are under attack. No President has ever tried to revoke a National Monument until now.
