The joy of human-powered skiing. There's something so gratifying when you reach the top of a peak that you've climbed up yourself. I've always been curious about what's around the next corner, but cautious about how I approach the backcountry. It's taken me over a decade of learning about snow safety and avalanches to get to the point I'm at.
